Facilities

The Geelong West Kindergarten proudly boasts two beautiful play rooms.

The Butterfly Room is the original kindergarten room built in 1922. This room still has the old-world charm with modern facilities.

The Rainbow Room is our more recently extended room with a modern, spacious feel and extensive north and east-facing windows.

Space to learn, play and grow

Our kinder rooms have plenty of space and time for uninterrupted play and discovery, art and music, practising social skills and learning to enjoy learning.

Young children work hard at play.  They invent scenes and stories, solve problems and negotiate their way through social roadblocks. They know what they want to do and work diligently to do it. We give our children both the space and time to do this.

Both rooms lead out to our beautiful grounds and natural garden spaces.

Outside play area

Our outdoor play space provides children with an outdoor learning environment that incorporates areas for quiet, natural, creative, active and stimulating play which promotes children’s learning whilst using their imagination.

By inviting a child to use their initiative and explore possibilities we provide them with the best opportunities to learn.

Our hundred year old peppercorn trees are also an integral part of our play space.
