About Geelong West Kindergarten

Geelong West Kindergarten is an independent kindergarten managed by a Committee of Management.

Our Centre has a long history, dedicated and passionate staff, two beautiful playrooms and a very generous outdoor space.  We operate three 4 year old Kinder groups (4/5 year olds) and three 3 year old kinder groups (3/4 year olds).

Our core values:

LEARNING
Open-ended, play based education, in learning environments that are rich in possibilities.

RESPECT
For ourselves, for one another, our physical environment, our past and future.

COMMUNITY
Taking pride in working collaboratively within our centre and our wider community.

INCLUSION
A warm welcome and an open door; celebrating each child’s individuality, strengths and uniqueness.

At Geelong West Kindergarten we pledge a public commitment to an environment that is safe for all people.  A place to celebrate every individual’s identity, of who they are and what they need.

We acknowledge a shared respect, shared meaning, shared knowledge and experience, of learning, living and working together with dignity and truly listening to all the members of our kindergarten community.

Our organisation clearly demonstrates a zero tolerance of discrimination of any kind.
